HI MATE....

YOUR ANSWER IS:

India and its ocean basin are ideally suitable for formation of cyclones as they are located in the tropics. Both Bay of Bengal and Arabian sea can host cyclones all around the year when the parameters are conducive.

Normally, typhoons from West pacific ocean and South China sea sends in the remnants to Bay of Bengal to form cyclones. Apart from this, post hurricane season, equatorial Indian ocean can host it's own tropical disturbances which can intensify into cyclones. Comorin sea can host tropical disturbances both pre and post monsoon which grows into cyclones in Arabian sea.

Indian ocean basin gets both monsoon winds which supplies ample moisture for the survival of cyclones. Coming to the frequency of cyclones in Indian ocean, there is no hard rule for the number of cyclones that form in a year.
