why are decomposers (e g.,worms) important in composting? Explain briefly.​

Worms are Natures great Decomposers. Have the students practice saying the word and write it on the board. Decomposers eat dead plants and animals and put nutrients into the soil for plants to grow. Bring out the worm bin and tell students this is an example of how we can create compost.

Worms are decomposers because the wastes that are thrown in the soil can be decomposed by the worms.They dig deep inside the and also makes the soil fertile.So they are also known as farmers friend.
