Deep sea worms are blind because they have no necessary requirement for seeing. The reason for that is as we go deeper down into the ocean or the sea the light that reaches there decreases, the visibility is little to zero. These worms cannot see even with some having large eyes. The worms have encountered this problem by developing strong sense of smell.
