Answer:

Hey MATE HERE Is Your Answer

Deserts are sparsely populated because there the climatic conditions are very harsh, soil is very less fertile and it is uneven place to live. Second reason is that people prefer to stay in a area having wider scopes of living their lives.

Answer:Deserts are defined by their severe lack of precipitation, and this makes it very difficult to establish a permanent settlement in the area. The two largest deserts in the world - the Antarctic Desert and the Arctic Desert - contain no permanent population (only travelers and seasonal researchers), and the third largest desert - the Sahara - contains a sparsely settled population. The lack of precipitation makes farming difficult to near impossible, and the growing of crops and food is an essential part of any self-sustaining population. The lack of crops and flora on the ground means animals tend to steer clear of these regions, making hunting and the raising of livestock equally as difficult. Irrigation systems are necessary for any large-scale farming, and this is simply not feasible for a region that has no regular rainfall to sustain the water supply. As a result, these regions have a very low or nonexistent population, as people and animals alike will concentrate along coasts, in precipitous climates, and near lakes, rivers and streams instead.
