why are digital thermometer preferred to Mercury thermometer

the temperature measured in the digital thermometer are more exact than the temperature measured in the mercury thermometer. and also if mercury thermometer breaks then mercury which is very toxic comes out and may create problems.

because in mercury thermometer we can't find easly what is the tempeture of person is but in digital thermometer it is shown in number we easly get the tempeture in digit .
