Why are dinosaur evolved earlier than man
Answers
Answer:
Explanation:
At the time the dinosaurs first appeared, the climate was much different than it is today. It was warmer overall, more humid, and instead of four seasons--winter, spring, summer, autumn--there were only two seasons--summer ("wet season") and winter ("dry season"). The ancestors of both mammals & dinosaurs appeared at the exact same time--the Triassic Period--but the climate was much better suited to support large reptiles than large mammals, and the dinosaurs evolved into giants while mammals never got any bigger than a modern house cat.
After the extinction of dinosaurs, however, that all changed. For reasons we don't fully understand, the climate became cooler, and the mammals left over from the extinction event were perfectly suited for this new climate! Mammals were finally able to evolve to greater sizes and this was a necessary step before humans could appear.
