Why are electric bulbs filled with chemically inactive nitrogen and argon??

Hii..that's your answer........

The  bulbs are filled with inert noble gases because these gases do not react with metal even at high tempratute and thus it prolong the life of the filament (made up of tungsten,having high melting and boiling point) in the bulb
