The different endemic species like animals and plants are now being restricted to a relatively smaller area for their inhabitance then than required, for example an island, and are being thus more prone to extinction.

They are failing to adapt themselves outside their habitat.

The different changes in their habitat can eliminate them completely.

The destruction of their habitat, increasing population and introduction of new species may affect the natural habitat of endemic species and endanger their existence.
