Endemic species are species that are only found in one particular region of the world. They are at greater risk of becoming extinct.

This is mainly due to human activities and lack of adaptability in these animals and they are not available in other regions which means they cannot be saved in other region if population in one region dies out.

Human activities that cause these species extinction are:

• Hunting and trophies

• Non native species introduced via humans who kill the native animals.
