the spread of electricity helped them and so they do no depend on rainwater..

Multiple Cropping was practised in palampur by:

-Farmers grow Jowar and bajra during the rainy season (kharif)
-They group potatoes and other vegetables in between the kharif and Rabi crops
-wheat is grown in (rabi) winter season
-sugarcane is Also grown in some parts of land this is harvested once in a year
