Why are fertilizers not good for soil?

their excess use causes imbalance of nutrients in soil.
Their excess use will affect the growth of the plants.
the fruit of the plants will taste bad.

Though chemical fertilizers increase crop production their overuse has hardened the soil, decreased fertility, strengthend pesticides , polluted air and water and released greenhouse gases, thereby bringing hazard to human health and environment as well
