The filtrate produced by glomerulus contains water, glucose salt and urea. When filtrate moves to bowman’s capsule, the glucose is absorbed by the blood capillaries whereas the rest of the material enters the tubule.
If glucose is not reabsorbed by the kidney, it will appear in urine and turns it yellow which is a condition known as glucosuria. Patients with diabetes mellitus experience this condition.
