why are flowers that are pollinated by insects brightly coloured or sweetly smelling

Flower that are are pollinated by insect are sweetly smelling and are colourfull the reasons is that insect in search of nectar get attracted by sweet smell and suck nectar from flower and due to this processes pollen grains stuck to their body and are carried away.
