Forests are the most important resource of our Earth. (1) The green trees perform photosynthesis by taking in CO2 and giving out O2. (2) . Forest resources are most important resources of our country useful in maintaining ecological balance, providing fire wood, (3) providing raw materials to many industries,(4) providing protection to wild animals and to conserve the soils. (5) Valuable plants like sandalwood are used to manufacture oils, or carvings. The forest departments are responsible for maintaining a specific microclimate around forest area.
