why are forests affected by Wars 9th class

Forests were affected by wars because:

1. Wars needed fuel which was provided by forests only.

2. During fights, forests were divided and due to formation of bunkers forests were cut down.

3. During wars, people who revolted against the govt. thought cutting of trees as an act of anger.
