Many varieties of plant grow in forest. Greater variety of plants provides greater opportunities for food and habitat for the herbivores. Larger number of herbivores means increased availability of food for a variety of carnivores. The wide variety of animals helps in pollination and carries the seeds to different areas. This ultimately helps in growth of new plants and the forests. The droppings of animals and dead leaves of plants are decomposed by the decomposers and converted into nutrients. These nutrients are utilized by the seeds to grow. Thus forest is full of life and vitality so it is called a dynamic living entity.
