Why are fossil fules and metal ores nonrenewable resources?

fossil fuels and metal ores are considered as non renewable resource this is because they get exhausted once if we use it our will we have to protect that resources before it gets exhausted. water air are renewable because they can be available on the earth abundantly they don't get exhausted. we cannot regenerate fossil fuels and metal ores so it's better to use it wisely
