An amphibian is a creature that starts out as water breathing animal but grows into an air breathing animal. This is somewhat contrary to popular belief that amphibians live both in water and on land
Bcoz frogs fit into this characteristic, they are amphibians. Frogs begin their lives in water as eggs and then tadpoles and when they are fully developed they live on land.
