why are fuel prices raised????

It's because of the extinction of fossil fuels the price of the fuels are rising day by day as the demand is rising day by day so we have to export it from other countries which costs a lot , so our indian minister's mostly tried to collect small small amount from the citizens.
This may be the reason....

It is simply because fuel is being depleted and also the importing price is being raised by the importers.
