generally electric cells we use are of limited voltage e.g. 1.5V. so there is no chance of any shot circuit. that's why MCB and fuse wires are not used in their circuit

they both are used where there is a high current to avoid shock circuit . But where as in circuit containing electric cell e current is low and least chances of shock circuit
