Gases are highly compressible.

Because the particles in gases have more space between them and attractive force is less between the particles.

So the gases are highly compressible.

The , particles , of gases , aere very loosely packed , i.e, they , have a very weak , power of attraction , between the particles , so , they have lots of spaces between them.
Therefore, when pressure is applied on gases , they are compressed easily
