Many gases like oxygen, LPG, CNG are liquefied for a variety of reasons by increasing pressure and reducing temp. Oxygen is liquefied and stored in cylinder to use in hospitals. LPG is used as a cooking gas (domestic fuel) and CNG is used as a fuel in cars
