Green plants are producers because they have the tendency to produce food.
They have chloroplast which help them to prepare food which other organisms don't have and hence, they are not producers, INSTEAD , plants are producers.
The role of decomposer is to decompose the dead remaining matter of the died organisms.
They are very important as if decomposers would not be there,then dead organism would not be decomposed and they will also create bad smell and pollute the environment.
