green palnts contain chlorophyll and along with sunlight ,water, carbon dioxide and minerals from soil it produces glucose which then converted into food and therefore they are called producers.

decomposers like some micro organism decomposes the dead remain or waste part of plants like leaves etc. and convert them into humus which makes the soil fertile

Plants are called producers because they produce their own food through the process of photosynthesis. Decomposers break down or decompose the plants when they die.

EXPLANATION:

The process of photosynthesis is carried out by all plants wherein the plants take in sunlight, water and carbon dioxide to prepare their food in the form of glucose.

The action of the decomposers results in the release of energy. The most common decomposers are bacteria and fungi.
