➡ Thus this portion of the truck is under the greatest pressure .

➡ Hence tyres are provided at the back to increase the surface area and hence to distribute the pressure .

➡ Double tyres cannot be used in front because there is no such pressure in the front and it will be difficult to drive the truck .

➡The chief reason of putting double tyres is to lessen the pressure on the roads and the tyre .

➡ This makes driving safe and it is also safe for the roads .
