Why are Himalayan river perennial? why are peninsular river seasonal?

Himalayas are covered with snow which when melts produces a waterfall. This melted snow forms the perennial river whereas the peninsular rivers are seasonal because they depend on rainfall and have short courses.The Himalayan rivers are perennial because the Himalayan area gets the rainfall from mid of Jun to September. More over its get the huge snow cold wind. During the summer the snow melts and during the winter huge rain fall. This is the major reason that Himalayan rivers are always perennial.

☞ Beacuse the rivers which flow from Himalayas gets originated by the melting of the the large amount of snow glaciers which covers most part of the Himalayan mountains . Thus this nose will never get completely melted because they are permanent on the Himalayan mountains and so the rivers which flow down are also perennial rivers
