Why are human testes called extra abdominal glands


tanu5289: Important parts of the male reproductive system, the testesare oval shaped glandsresponsible for producing sperm, and most of the male hormone testosterone. The testes of males are extra –abdominal hanging 'outside' in the scrotum because sperm production needs a cooler temperature than the inside of the body
