The immune system of our body is a defence mechanism to fight against pathogenic microbes. It has cells that are specialized to kill infecting microbes and keep our body healthy. If the body's immune system is strong, it can easily fight pathogens, keeping ushealthy.

Immune system is formed of T-lymphocytes and B-lympocytes. B-lymphocytes produce antibodies which fight against pathogenic microorganisms which enter the blood and lymph, While T-lymphocytes actually kill the pathogenic microorganisms. So immune system is essential to keep human body healthy.
