In OLED error rates are high and the complicated process makes OLED's phenomenally expensive. while inkjet printing can now crack difficult technical problems that made manufacturing flexible and large-size OLEDs challenging and costly

The OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) screens are the LED screens composed of tiny "organic light emitting diodes". It is made by placing a series of organic thin films (usually carbon based) between two conductors.
When an electrical current is applied, light is emitted. Currently, the "Organic Light Emitting Diode" screens are built using an evaporation process which is much more problematic and expensive.
However, this outdated technique is now to be replaced with the help of inkjet printing which can lead to the production of much more cost effective OLED screens. This inkjet printers recreate the digital image of the scanned object.
