Why are jute fiber and coir normally not used to make clothes?

Jute fibres are quite rough so they are very lessly used to make clothes but they are used to make ropes , sacks , cheap ornaments

ryan96: Jute is a natural plant fibre obtained from jute plant .Since jute is uneven in nature and posses rough surface so it is not used for making cloths, but using to make ropes, curtains, and carpets…etc
