Kalbasikhi definitely brings destruction in term of lighting and thunder and storm and hailstone, rainfall
Howerer it is extremely benifical for the pre kharif crops like paddy and jute and large no of vegetables and fruits. It occurs during the month April and may. Due to this mangoes also start ripening after kalbasikhi rainfall.

Hey Friend,

Kalbaisakhi -

*Local Wind
*Strong Wind
*Summer phenomenon
*Causes torrential destruction to standing crops and property

It is important because -

*Bring moisture
*Causes rainfall in summer
*These light showers are important for the tea cultivation in Assam; jute and rice in West Bengal.

Hope it helps!
