1. led's are cheap.

2. glows even when the slightest current. passes through it.

3. it does not gets itself too hot.

4. it has no filaments so it is less likely to burn up.

5. it takes a very little amount of electricity to work.

6. it gives good amount of light in very low current.

7. it is good for earth because it does not waste very easily.
