Answer: LED means light Emitting Diode. In leds, Diode is the primary element, which has low loss, meant lower heat generation and lower self consumption, leads to longer life. In other hand, bulbs using tungston as filament, which generate consume more power and generate more heat, leads to shorter life. And bulbs are non capable of with stand vibration, leads to failure of filament (broken)
