in liquids and gases, the inter molecular space is large and the inter molecular force of attraction is less. because of this the atoms of liquids and gases can move. they are so called fluids.

Answer:

Because the interparticle space in gases and liquids are weak.In gases the particles are very loosely packed whereas the particles in gases are only a little loosely packed.

Hope it helps.
