lizard is an cold blooded reptile so cannot maintain its body temperature their body temprature affect their bheviour so they are behaving unactive in winter and go underground for hibernation

Lizard are reptiles and cold blooded animal . They cannot maintain their body temperature on their own so to avoid the cold they hide in some places and go for a 'long sleep ' called hibernation. So they are not visible.
