Why are local names not sufficient to
recognising living organisms

Answer. Local names are not sufficient to recognize the organism because they are not understood elsewhere there are different languages throughout the world but if keep have a local name for an organism then it woiuld be difficult to discuss about that organism with other places as they have their local name and these names will differ so we have scientific names for each organism to make the communication much easier
