this is so because if Any foreign substance is present , to end it the lysosomes would self destroyed .

Lysosomes are bag like cell organelles which contains lysozyme (an enzyme). It can digest any cell organelles along with bacteria and viruses which enters into the cell. It helps to clean the cell. Therefore, if this bag brusts then it's enzyme will digest the cell itself. That's why Lysosomes are called as Suicidal bag of cells.
As they digests foreign particles like bacteria or viruses they are also called as Scavengers.
These cell organelles are generally found in animal cells (eukaryotic cells). It helps to digest food inside the cell and gives energy therefore they very common in animal cells because animals take in food.
