why are lysosomes called digestive bags or sucidal bags of the cell?

Lysosomes have digestive enzymes and are responsible for intracellular digestion as well as extracellular digestion. During some disturbance in cell the membrane of lysosome burst so these enzymes will digest their own cell so they are called suicidal bags of the cell
