Consider the farm as a company and the plants/crops its employees and the farmer as its Owner. Now if the employer(farmer) wants his employees to work hard and yield out as much as possible, he’d provide them with the best salary(NPK-macro nutrients) and other added benefits(micro nutrients).

Now, you’d ask that why do we not add fertilizer/manure in the soil of a Farm? To understand this, consider a forest as someone who is self-employed. How? The trees in the forest shed leaves in the season of fall which usually decay on the top soil and eventually turn into a valuable compost which supplies nutrients to the tree. Nature is beautiful, isn’t it?
