why are manure and fertilizers used in field a farmer irragated his field excessively just after applying fertilisers . explain why this is not a correct practice​

Excessive use damages the soil. They make the soil less porous and reduce the water holding capacity of the the soil. Chemical fertilizers also make

the soil acidic. Most plants do not grow in acidic soil . Chemical fertilizers kill As a result the soil loses its natural capacity of decomposing organic matter.

Difference between manure and fertilizers are

Manure

Natural substance obtained by the decomposintion of plants and animals remains.

Rich in humus.

Makes the soil porous and increase the water holding capacity .

Relatively less rich in plants nutrients.

Fertilizers

Inorganic salts.

Do not contain humus.

Makes the soil acidic and less porous.

Rich in plants nutrients like nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus.
