why are manures and fertilizers used in fields? A farmer irrigated his field excessively just after applying fertilizers .explain why this is not a correct practice?​

Answer: It is not a correct practice as it may cause the fertility of the land to decrease by using fertilizers .  if after that they excessively irrigate the field, it will run off to the ponds and lakes affecting the ecosystem of the water body and cause eutrofication....

Manures and fertilisers are used in the fields to increase the fertility rate of the soil in order to get a higher yield.

It is not a correct practise to excessively irrigate the field just after applying fertilisers because the fertilisers are not easily absorbed by the soil the moment we add it. Also it can cause water pollution as it can be carried away by the water in the water bodies.
