Why are many of India's steel plants located in the area covering Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha

in those places ore is avalible.because of this reason steel plants are present. and also from those places transportation of the goods will be easier as compared to other places.

Many of the India's steel plants are located in the area covering Jarkhand, west Bengal and Odisha.

This is because the availability of large amount of iron ore in those places.

Large area in these states is under iron mining.

If plants are established in the surrounding areas of mining fields the production time decreases as transportation becomes more easier and early.
