why are mast monuments in Rajasthan made of sandstone?

Most monument in Rajasthan are made of sandstone because Rajasthan has a desert and desert has mostly sand which leads to formation of sandstones. Thus there are many sandstones in Rajasthan other than any minerals in Rajasthan.
