PRI used dirty tricks to eliminate any potential candidate
It used government funds for campaign
It told government employees to campaign for them and govt. teachers told students' parents to vote for PRI
PRI was other name for corruption in Mexico
PRI shifted polling booths at the last moment
PRI also formed govt. till 2000
Since this was against the principle
of free and fair elections we conclude that Mexican Elections were not democratic
