Why are metals good conductors of electricity whereas glass is a bad conductor of electricity.

Metals are good conductor of electricity because they have plenty of free electrons. Whereas glass is a bad conductor bcoz it doesn't have plenty of free electrons

Becuase metals have free electrons in their outermost shell so they are good conductors
But glass have no free electrons
