Why are metals like sodium, calcium, magnesium and aluminium etc. are obtained by electrolytic reduction ?​

These metals like Sodium(Na), Calcium(Ca), Magnesium(Mg) and Aluminium (Al) are obtained from its ores only by electrolytic reduction. This is because these metals are highly reactive and these are on the top of the reactivity series. They require high amount of current so that it is extracted by electrolytic reduction.
