Because life runs on chemical process and reactions, the molecules have to bump into one another and react with them. Life's most basic forms and  processes are finally adapted to exploit the random motion of Molecules.

The movements in the living organism which we cannot see by our naked eyes but occur in all living organism, play an important role in their activities. These movements are called as molecular movement.

Some of the common examples of molecular movement are:

  1. Formation of carbohydrates in photosynthesis .
  2. Digestion of food .
  3. Breaking of water molecules.
  4. Reactions of biomolecules.

No doubt we cannot see these movements but they are very important as the life of living organism is based on these movements.
