Carbon compounds form Covalent bonds. They do not dissociate into ions and do not have charged particles (ions) to carry electric current

Hyy mate,

Your answer ---

Carbons are the bad conductors of the electricity because the carbon atoms do not have any free electron which is in the conduction band.

Carbons are the bad conductors of the electricity because the carbon atoms do not have any free electron which is in the conduction band. They are not able to conduct in the room temperature so, if you increase the temperature of the room, then the electrons will start acquiring energy and will start contributing to the conduction.

HOPE IT MAY HELP YOU.
