why are most of coastal west flowing river are short?

I dont think there is a valid reason but compared to the east rivers. Its bassically most effected by Everest. Everest rivers flow through north which offers a free passage through the east .if rivers continue to flow to the south they would face resistance from the terrorism offered by the plateau religion. Thats what I think hope it helps u.
