Why are most of the Peninsular rivers drain into the Bay of Bengal? Give reason.

. The main reason for most of the rivers draining into the Bay of Bengal is due to the slope of peninsular plateau. Bay of Bengal because of the topography of the region. Tilting is caused when western part of peninsula cracked and submerged in Arabian sea that disturbed river's course in early tertiary period.
